You hear different stories about "the Groupon experience". An Article in the Huffington Post describes a waffle restaurant in Washington DC which claims that a Groupon offer contributed to the closing of the restaurant. One of the issues is that Groupon did not pay the merchant quickly enough and they had little financial wiggle room.
