A recent article about the financial crisis in Spain states:
"Many bank executives were "politically-driven executive appointments" and a contributing factor to the crisis. "Many senior bankers were low-profile regional politicians or majors, without any financial experience or bank background"
Oh, don't you love it? Regulatory agencies understaffed and incompetent political crnonies. But Who pays in the end?
