Who can forget those 1950s & 1960s commercials? Women wear their pearls and just love moving their vavuums. But they bring back memories. I can so easily visualize my Mother and Father and sister as we watched them and hummed their jingles.
Is that Sandra Dee in the Coke commercial??
People seem untroubled. There seemed to be no "angst" or introspection. Little did they know the 1960s were about to explode!! Have a nostalgic, humourous look and listen:







You know it is good to look at those old clips. It reveals so much about our values in the things done and not done. It also shows the lack our focus on diversity. Thanks for sharing.

I think of the 50's as a time of massive denial and arrogance. Remember when 50's parties were in vogue? I HATED that! People seemed untroubled then because they swept everything under the rug.
