**Preview** -- Release Sept 2009
Due out in Sept 2009, Vaboomer has a preview of the latest Scaredy Squirrel series book: "Scaredy Squirrel at Night" by Melanie Watt.
Our favorite squirrel is afraid of going to sleep at night !
Scaredy Squirrel is afraid to go to sleep, and stays awake instead of risking having a bad dream. But many sleepless nights make him tired. When a horoscope informs Scaredy Squirrel that his dreams will come true that night, he hurriedly creates a plan to combat bad dreams. But his plan goes awry, and he falls asleep amidst it all–waking up feeling refreshed.
Comfort for Worry-Warts
Bedtime fears are very common in young children, and the author Melanie Watt treats these fears in a humorous way, while at the same being compassionate and understanding what it’s like to worry and fear. I recall having insomnia as a child (I was a little worry-wart). It was excruciating. I wish Scaredy Squirrels books were around at that time!
Children will love the humor in this book. As usual, Scaredy Squirrel goes overboard, (creating a silly, detailed action plan to combat bad dreams) -– put out molasses to slow a unicorn, have a fire extinguisher for dragons.
Vaboomer has a copy to giveaway to our readers. Simply send an email to: contact@boomermade.com

Squirrels are destructive little rodents. They try to break into houses and can do a lot of damage. They also carry diseases such as rabies and bubonic plague. Children should not be taught that squirrels are cute, friendly animals. And if you feed them, STOP it!
