Matters of Heart: Celebration #2

I am late posting today just coming back from the wake of a longtime friend who died suddenly Thanksgiving Eve at 56 from a massive heart attack. Our families had been neighbors in Newark, NJ. Tom's kids came to play in our yard and pool as they were growing up. Then last night my one remaining aunt called to say her great grand-daughter (my cousin) has had two strokes at 34. And the wife of my last cousin on my grandmother's side had a successful quadruple bypass but my cousin died from a stroke.  Very very sad, especially the young ones.

Strong Hearts

I am taking another message as well. I have been clearly reminded that matters of the heart matter. So let me celebrate some matters of the heart that will keep your and my heart strong. One thing I have been doing for some months now is taking high doses of VitaminC with lyceine Vitamin Foundation  as recommended by Dr. Linus Pauling the only single two-time Nobel Prize winner.

Heart Diet

I have changed my diet Heart Foundation even more and eliminated almost all dairy except fat free lactaid milk.

I've cut down on lean red meat, and upped my cold water fish, oatmeal and soy bean curd intake. I cook almost exclusively with olive oil and eat lots of essential fatty acids Omega 3. Now i am working on dropping pounds, by cutting portions and adding something new for me--regular exercise which is a key to heart health Heart Diet & Exercise.

My heart goes out to Tom's family and my cousins. And it goes out to all those suffering from heart disease. Discover how a change of heart can make all the difference http://www.heartmath.com/
