These are the days to be on HIGH ALERT on all fronts. The lasting damage Bushites will attempt and can do will blow us away. The have already created a war to extract as much oil money as possible and tried to destroy pristine environments, Sesame Street, the arts, the education system and more...But look sharp there will be more to come in tricky and insidious ways. What I cannot understand is the willfull self-destruction resulting from such actions and point of view. Do these people think that they are immune? I guess they are stuck somehow in permanent teenland where they think they are invincible. The rest of us might croak, but they will be fine...I truely don't get it!
So far this summer I have seen in the wild--deer, a doe and a fawn, three beaver, a hen turkey and her brood. A flock of ducks and a brood of ducklings, a bald eagle, chipmunks, frogs--the first frogs I've seen in years, a pair of turkey buzzards, hawks, finches, and more...=
